Hi there, I'm Neelma

A CERTIFIED LIFE COACH

The Balancing Act

As a life coach and a mom to two vibrant tweens, I'm intimately familiar with the rollercoaster ride of parenting – the struggles, juggling act, and the eternal pursuit of balance. At home, we've adopted monthly family meetings, a touchstone for support and guidance on our kids' evolving paths.

Observing their journey of self-discovery, witnessing the blossoming of confidence, and hearing the emergence of their voices is truly priceless. In both my personal and professional life, I navigate the challenges and joys of guiding young minds—a journey I'm passionately invested in, given that I'm on the same boat, just a bit further down the river.

Parenting Tweens and Teens as a Life Coach

My heart resonates with helping children, I'm here to guide your child through identity formation, fostering
self-worth and empowerment.

Why? Because I remember yearning for a compassionate presence during those formative years. I aim to be that unwavering support, offering a safe space for everyday and profound conversations, driving a mission of self-discovery for others, just as I've discovered it myself.

My journey began at Colgate University, where I discovered my passion for Philosophy and Religion, eventually leading me to a Master's in Religious Studies at Duke University. Yet, life took unexpected turns. After embracing motherhood and stepping away from my career, I reentered the workforce facing anxiety and the daunting work-life balance challenge. It wasn't just me; fellow parents were grappling with the same.

So, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, incorporating meditation and learning to say 'no' without guilt. I began working with a life coach that helped me navigate this new chapter. She transformed my life, sparking a fire within me to pay it forward. So, I took the leap, switched careers, and became a certified life coach. Now, I'm on a mission to do for others what she did for me – guiding them on their journey toward peace, purpose, and authenticity. Join me in this transformative adventure, where together, we'll unlock the potential for a life well-lived.

Birds (more so, afraid of)

Lima beans - bleh!

Golf of the non-mini variety as I very much enjoy “putt-putt”

Capris - I have chicken legs and they end up looking like high waters. Not cute.

Cold pizza - also bleh!

Bell bottom jeans

Puppies, babies, kittens - basically any animal in its baby form!

NY Times crossword

The Woods & ocean (not listed in any particular order)

Laughing (my laugh lines can attest to that!)
